BarteltGLASBerlin GmbH & Co. was founded in 1960 by Gerda and Heinz Bartelt in Berlin. Today, the company is headquartered in Berlin-Mariendorf. High-quality flat-glass products are produced on an area of 13.500 m2. The company currently employs 120 members of staff. Its core competencies lie in the area of glass processing, fenestration, safety glass and glass design.
In January 2015, the company’s welcomed its 3rd generation family members to the management board. The children Julia Geburzi-Horn and Robert Horn take over management of the company.
Bartelt & Sohn plans and manages its production connected with the PPS system A+W Production; in the administrative area, the company employs the latest A+W Business generation with integrated order entry – the Bartelt & Sohn team knows that it cannot make efficient use of a high-tech machine park without intelligent networked information technology.

“Intelligent” means that all commercial and technical data is available company-wide at all times, from the creation of an order to its completion – without having employees running around with folders and stacks of paper under their arms in order to determine what they have to do with which lite.
